You've imported or synced your players and team staff and added them to team rosters. Great! The next step for team rosters requiring district approval is to submit your teams to your District Association.
- Click the Teams menu item in the Govern Navigation menu on the left.

- Here you'll see a list of all your teams in the season. Click the team name to access that team's roster page.

- If there are any players or team staff members you do not wish to submit on the team roster at this time, click the ... in the Actions column and select Put on Hold.
- That player will remain associated with the team roster, but will not be submitted for approval (nor will they appear on the official roster once approved by the District).
- When ready (at a later date) to submit them, set their status back to pending using the ... in the Actions column before resubmitting the team for district approval.

- If you wish (or need) to include any notes for players or team staff for the District Administrator, you may do so by clicking the Add Note button next to the relevant player or team staff member.
- See the Exceptions and Warnings section below for more details.
- When ready to submit your team for District Approval, click the Submit for Approval button in the upper right.

Upon submission, the District will be notified in the Ontario Soccer Govern module and the team will become available to your District Administrator(s) for approval.
You'll receive notifications in the Ontario Soccer Govern module when the team roster is approved, if any players r team staff members are rejected, and/or if there are items for the club to resolve for their team before it can be approved.
Exceptions and Warnings
You may notice some warning icons appear next to some of the team's members on the Team Roster page. These are indicators that the member may not fit the guidelines for inclusion (and/or approval) on that team roster. A common example would be a player that is overage or underage for a particular age group. Hovering over the icon will provide more information.

Example of a warning icon. In this example, the player’s DOB (2013) is too young for this age group.
When you click the Submit for Approval button for a team with players that have warnings, you'll be prompted to provide an exception note(s) that will be visible to the District Administrator when approving your team.
