Guardians: Sharing Access to Players on Your Account

Adding a co-guardian to your profile will result in linking all players (children) on your profile to that person’s profile, allowing them to register the players, view their schedules, and access other team tools and features such as attendance (as made available by the club) in the PowerUp Connect mobile app and the PowerUp Member Zone. Note that the co-guardian does not get visibility or access to your purchases or payments.

NOTES:
- The ability to add a co-guardian is only available if you have added player(s) to your profile. 
- If you want to add someone who only needs to be copied on season communications and/or act as an emergency contact (but they do not require access to register the player(s) or use team tools such as attendance), then you can use the Additional Contacts Info tab to add them there instead. 
- If you do not wish to link all the players on your profile with a co-guardian, please contact your club for assistance.

Linking to a Guardian Who Has a Profile in PowerUp

If the person you wish to add as a co-guardian already has a profile at the club (or another club that uses PowerUp):

1. Log into your profile at the club (the same place you register)

2. Navigate to Profile >> Edit My Profile in the menu

3. On the Co-Guardian Info tab, enter the below details of the co-guardian you wish to add:

   1. First Name

   2. Last Name

   3. Email Address

   4. Co-Guardian Invite Code

      • The co-guardian will need to log into their existing profile and provide you with their code (it’s visible on the Profile >> Edit Profile page). Note that the Profile Code changes daily for security.

4. Click Save

The person will receive an email informing them they have been added as a co-guardian, and will be provided with a link to log into the club and access their account. They will then have access to register the players, view their schedules, and access other team tools and features such as attendance (as made available by the club) in the PowerUp Connect mobile app and the PowerUp Member Zone .

Linking to a Guardian Who Does Not Have a Profile in PowerUp

If the person you wish to add as a co-guardian does not yet have a profile at the club (or any other club that uses PowerUp):

1. Log into your profile at the club

2. Navigate to Profile >> Edit My Profile in the menu

3. On the Co-Guardian Info tab, enter the below details of the co-guardian:

   1. First Name

   2. Last Name

   3. Email Address

4. Click Save

The person will receive an email informing them they have been added as a co-guardian, and will be provided with a link to log into the club, set their password, and complete the setup of their profile. They will then have access to register the players, view their schedules, and access other team tools and features such as attendance (as made available by the club) in the PowerUp Connect mobile app and the PowerUp Member Zone .

Removing a Co-Guardian

Once someone is made a co-guardian, only an administrator can remove the association. Contact your club for assistance with this.

Linking Only Some Players on a Profile to a Co-Guardian

If you only want to share one (or a subset) of the players on your profile with another guardian, an administrator at the club must complete this process for you. Please contact your club for assistance with this.
